BluVein is a collaboration between the Swedish cleantech company Evias and Australian Olitek and was started to test and develop Evias technology specifically for the mining industry.

With the technology, neither battery replacement nor static charging of the vehicle is required, which enables the vehicles to be used at all times without stopping. It also means smaller and cheaper batteries that do not have to hold as much power, while the vehicles can run at higher speeds. In addition to these benefits, you also avoid hazardous diesel emissions in the mine, which contributes to a better working environment.
